01.16.23 — 100 Clients Model
Why 100 is all you need
In a world dominated by “growth” and scale & CLIENT ACQUISITION, here’s what I’ve found to be true:
🗣️ ”If you can get 100 clients, overdeliver for them, and ultimately KEEP them... you are free.”
Coming from someone who’s taken THOUSANDS, and thousands, and thousands of clients — this is a big statement from me.
If you’re new to the field…
It starts small.
10 clients at $2-3k.
Home run them. Refine. Hone. Earn your right to another 10.
Next batch at $5-6k.
Hone. Refine. Hone again.
Next 10 at $7-8k.
Refine. Tinker. Invent.
Overdeliver again.
If you’re using our models, the secret is the retention. Because your first batch is still with you while you’re taking the third batch. And they’re gladly still paying you.
As you build, the model stacks.
You find that the safety of the model is not in the acquisition but the retention.
Clients 31 - 100 come in over time at full price.
Within 2 years you’ve got a recurring book of business that dwarfs most of the online “run and gun” show ponies.
This allows you to progress to Phases 2, 3, and eventually — Phase 4.
When a business keeps its promises and delivers for the people entrusted to it — it builds the mechanics that supports “enterprise value.”
✅ Lifelong happy clients
✅ Recurring books
✅ Healthy team culture built on SERVICE not on “scale” or stress
Rarely is the best path going to be straight up the side of the mountain.
Some of you are at 7 figures trying to get to 8. Some of you are at 8 figures trying to stabilize. And a few are just getting started…
Regardless of where you are or trying to get to, this is true:
“Healthy” means longevity.
Stable infrastructure.
Stable targets.
An easy way to MULTIPLY longevity is to make it enjoyable. We can do the work forever if it’s fun and we feel good.
Don’t push too hard against the grain to arrive at “scale.”
Enjoy it, and it will last forever.
Very humbling, if my goal is just to make a few million this is very reassuring. I 100% agree by the way. I’d much rather serve my currents at such a high level that they never leave than have to go compete for new people every day. I’ve always loved the recurring model. It’s so stable.
