Heyyoo —

I wanted to get you a few announcements as we head into the new year. Hopefully your holidays were incredible and you’re gearing up for the best 12 months of your life!

First, I’m restarting my top-rated DAILY mindset podcast, Daily Mind Medicine.

This is a passion project I started in MARCH of 2020 (in hindsight, it was a terrific time to begin putting positive, healthy material out to the world). It grew quickly, but as my other projects grew I couldn’t keep up with the publishing cadence.

For the last ~year, we’ve been taking great pieces of training from events & various products & republishing them to Daily Mind Medicine. In January, I’m kicking off custom, “real time” episodes again.

You should tune in and subscribe. There is no better way to get your day started, promise.

A few top episodes from this past year:

*Note: new LIVE episodes will begin publishing next Monday, January 2nd.

Second, The Good Life w/Taylor Welch is now officially publishing.

The goal with this podcast is to give more exposure to the life of an entrepreneur — not just the business aspects but the elements & variables OUTSIDE of business that matter.

For instance, how do you link up with your partner during intense growth seasons? How do you make time to be a good mother, or father, when things are not going the way you want them to at work? There are nuances to living a good life that are much larger than “income,” or “revenue,” or “marketing.”

This show will encompass far more than just “how to make money,” because life encompasses more than that. Take a listen, and subscribe.

A few of my favorite episodes from The Good Life:

Third, just as quick update, “The Wealthy Consultant” is launched & LIVE.

In May, I launched a new training company. We called it “The Wealthy Consultant.” The goal was to publish the models, frameworks & perspectives I’ve developed over years of being in the trenches.

The brand did a couple million dollars this year, which is not half bad considering we started at the end of May. Next year, our goals are big, and our mission is to redefine wealth for thousands of entrepreneurs.

If you’ve read or engaged with my work, you know that my definition of wealth has changed over the years. It’s not a number, or a bank account — it’s your freedom & autonomy to live in the moment. Yes, money has to be a part of that. It’s hard to be free when you are poor.

You can read a bit about our mission and a letter to our team as we begin our first “full year” in business here. That letter will be educational for you, I think, if you have a team of your own.

This year, just for the Wealthy Consultant brand, we published :

  • 25+ Weekly Mental Toughness Trainings

  • 60+ Hours of Consulting Calls With Clients

  • 50+ Hours of Live Event Curriculum & In-Person Trainings

  • 8 New Products Ranging from Finance, to Operations, to Marketing & Sales

If you’ve followed me for a while, you know that I started my first consultancy in 2015. Since then, I’ve had thousands of clients and hundreds of thousands of students — but this year, I exited my old company (Traffic & Funnels) to start something new. You can catch the video on that here.

Expect the new brand to change quite a lot over the next few months. We are already processing thousands of transactions per month and my goal is to situate this brand (and its suite of products) for durability & longevity.

If you are a consultant, or educator — there is a lot you can learn from how I (a) set up the business from day 1 and (b) am transitioning it now to be more “faculty” based, rather than single-source dependent.

Fourth & final — my top highlighted books from the past year.

#1 - Richer, Wiser, Happier, by William Green

My favorite book by 500M net worth author Felix Dennis. Everybody talks about his main book (How to Get Rich), but I think his follow up “The Narrow Road” is better. Here are some favorite takeaways:

In closing

I hope your year was terrific. Sometimes, “terrific” will mean you climbed the mountain, achieved all your goals & all your targets.

Other times, “terrific” can simply mean you survived, that you are still here, and hopefully the lessons you bled for will carry you to new heights next year.

Thank you for being part of my tribe.

Onward & upward!

-Taylor

You’re the most pragmatic millionaire and entrepreneur I know. Your approach keeps me going. Watching how you conduct business. How you operate. The way you’re tunnel visioned on your path. You’ve created your own world. Your community is tuned out of the noise. You make everything seem so possible without acting like a pie in the sky. It’s mostly your transparency. Allowing me to model and apply. I’m 21 years old starting a digital marketing agency. 2 1/2 years and $50K+ invested into myself, feel like I’m just earning my wings to build it to multiple seven figures.
