In this episode, Taylor encourages us that if there is an area in our lives that we are trying to cross a line but could not do it, just keep crossing it. Not everything in life is achieved in one go. Keep going, move past the line. The most precious wins happen after a couple of tries.

Oh, what's up? And good morning. Welcome to a Daily Mind Medicine, the reason that people struggle with their limits. So there's a limit.

You've noticed this, you've felt this. There has potentially been fear around this, where you are afraid to go beyond. It's like leaving a, a destination.

You know, when you watch movies, I remember, this is random, but I remember a scene in the Lord of the Rings where they were running, and then one of the hobbits paused and everyone looked at at him and was like, what's going on?

Is like this? The next step that I take will be the furthest away from the shire that I've ever been.

And it was a moment of fear, but also excitement. We, I've noticed we have these moments in our lives all the time.

Oftentimes that happens subconsciously, but what? But you know, that if you take another step, if you push forward, you'll be pushing into unknown territory.

It'll be the furthest you've ever been. And there's a fear there. And this is also an excitement there. But here's what I've noticed, and this is what I want to encourage you on today, oftentimes I will hit my upper limit and I won't bust through.

I'll hit that limit where this is the farthest that I've ever been. And I'll cross the line and then cross back over why sometimes it takes exposure and practice to tune the mind for new levels.

And I want to encourage you that if there's an area in your life or business or career or whatever it is that you're trying to move forward, if there's a moment where you have crossed the boundary but could not stay there, maybe you hired up and staffed up a team to get to a new revenue level and you staffed it up and things were going well, but then, ah, you didn't hit the revenue level and you had to cut staff and move backwards.

Or maybe you have prepared yourself for some sort of relationship and you've gone through all of this trouble and labor and effort to change and to improve, and then the relationship did not survive.

Or maybe, maybe there's an area in your personal life with your habits physically or emotionally when you've gone through therapy or read the book.

So you've done the work. Here's the point. You've done the work to get up to the boundary line, but you have not been able to consistently step over to the other side.

You have to try again. The, the mind will develop fear around this imaginary line That doesn't actually mean anything. It's just something in our heads and is our heads say, this is the furthest that I have ever been from home.

This is the furthest that I've ever been up the mountain. This is the furthest that I've ever been. But the point of that voice is not to hurt you.

It's actually trying to keep you safe. And you have to thank that inner voice. You have to say, thank you for trying to keep me safe.

And then you have to step on past the boundary. And sometimes You, you have to step past the boundary multiple times.

Not everything in life is achieved in one. On the first go. Some of the most powerful wins you will ever have in your life are the 19th.

Go the 22nd try the 30th try. And here's something about humanity that we tend to expect winning to happen on the first go.

And if it doesn't, we can't keep going. But the most precious of wins typically happen after a couple of tries.

Keep going. Move past the line. You are normal. There's nothing wrong with you. You just gotta keep going. Audios.
