Happy April…
I have some thoughts for you that will make you money. Don’t read this hastily — instead, read it slowly & then re-read it.
This is one of the more important topics I have learned the hard way from the last 8 years and I want to save you the hassle.
To succeed “effortlessly” in business you need a SYSTEM.
You need a system or each quadrant of your business:
Marketing
Sales
Operations
Finance
Marketing drives the attention (without this you will not grow).
Sales protects that attention, and converts latent value into revenue.
Operations fulfills, staffs the business & drives the machine forward.
Finance turns all of the above into true recognizable enterprise value.
For the last six months I have been quietly buying up companies in each quadrant, collecting ownership in other “systems” that can service my main portfolio of brands and a handful of clients.
Now, we are able to acquire pieces or whole parts of companies with good value propositions but dreadfully undervalued multiples due to lack of a proper SYSTEM…
After acquisition, our methods get to work and 6-10 months later, a brand new “asset” emerges. The original founder is richer than ever and works less than they ever have.
AND has an actual enterprise asset valued at 10x the original… with access to business credit, 2-3x higher personal income, and a “sellable” package that will put 7-8 figures in their pocket at exit.
There is no time like the present. A collective belief that I’ve notice amongst entrepreneurs is that they have plenty of time to “do it later.”
The great news is that this year you have 75% of the clock left… the bad news is that this stuff is hard if you don’t know what you’re doing it can take you much longer than it needs to.
Most founders are great at doing the thing their business does for their marketplace. It is not typical for a founder/entrepreneur to also become “good” at systematizing talent acquisition, GAAP accounting, establishing healthy and favorable credit options, etcetera…
If you’re interested in partnering up and you fit my criteria (aka we judge based on the quality & components of the business that we can 8-10x it in the next 12 months) then I’d love to build out everything for you…
If you’re not interested in partnership but want to grow what you’ve got going that is 100% great as well… this is a very good place for you to be to learn through repeated exposure and I am still just an email away for anything particular.
My advice is to focus on each “system” with ruthless abandon until you achieve stabilization for 3 solid months. Then move onto the next one.
Happy April - talk soon…
